Story

My Dad Fred Waters died last August 26th, since then I have wanted to do something to remember him....

Myself and partner Sarah Brown are running the 2014 Bath Half marathon - this is the first time either of us has taken part in anything like this. We initially signed up when Fred was alive, it was a challenge to mark us both turning 30 – I was looking forward to talking Dad through our progress and training, unfortunately Fred passed away.

We have now decided to run in Fred’s memory

Fred was a keen supporter of the Red Cross making a monthly donation, I contacted them when Fred passed away and we transferred our race entries to Team Red Cross.

Fred served in the Royal Navy up until he was 45, he was a keen gardener and loved Rugby playing in the Navy and then he went on to play over 500 games for Clevedon Rugby Club ,a club record.

Please support us in remembering Fred and doing him proud

Thank you
