Thank you for you support so far
We have both been touched by what impact autism can have.
Craig’s story. My nephew was diagnosed with autism nearly 2 decades ago and is living proof that you CAN live a normal life. He struggled as a toddler to fit in and at the time it was not understood as well as it is today.
He went to a normal school with a specialist unit. Did brilliantly and is now two years into an equine management course.
He is turned out to be a lovely well mannered adult enjoying and excelling in horse riding. He loves to teach younger children about looking after horses and how to ride.
He is a real success story.
Oli’s Story
My daughter who is 10 yrs old has autism and I see first hand the effects it can have for her living with the condition.
The book “The reason I jump”explains a lot about how she views life. She gets regular support at school and as a family we get home help in understanding and dealing with the issue.
