The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

In honour of our late friend Craig, we are raising awareness for the valiant efforts of the Welsh Air Ambulance Service during a tragic accident while on holiday in Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, in 2008.

We have decided to run the Swansea Half Marathon on Sunday June 24th and are hoping to raise £1500 for the Welsh Air Ambulance Service. The Welsh Air Ambulance is funded entirely by the people of Wales and rely on the public's support to help keep the helicopters flying. Every year £6.5 million needs to be raised in order to operate the service. With your support we can hopefully raise the money that would provide one lifesaving mission.
