CEO Sleepout London 2018 · 29 October 2018 ·

Business leaders unite to fight homelessness, sleeping outdoors for one night alongside their peers, giving up the comfort of a warm bed to raise funds charities on the frontline of homelessness. CEO Sleepout events take place in cities across the UK. Will you join us?

Story

We will be sleeping out rough overnight in Lords Cricket Ground along with other members of the London Business Community to raise funds for homeless people in the London Area.

Rough sleeping in England has increased for the seventh consecutive year, official figures show, and charities say even this steep rise fails to capture the true level of street homelessness.

Statistics published by the government  reveal that an estimated 4,751 people bedded down outside overnight in 2017, up 15% on the previous year.

The figures – based on single-night snapshot street counts or paper estimates by local authorities – show that London, where figures rose by 18%, remains the centre of rough sleeping, accounting for nearly a quarter of all rough sleepers.

Homelessness is Crane Worldwide's chosen charity for our Crane Cares initiative in 2018 and we look forward to your support! Small and large donations ALL WELCOME.

Thank you

Chris Lee, Managing Director UK

Kate Yates, Director Digital Marketing, Communications and PR
