Headlines Craniofacial Support UK provides practical support and information to people affected by craniosynostosis and other rare craniofacial conditions to help them overcome the physical, psychological and social impacts of living with these conditions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As Many of you know we are currently under Alder Hey awaiting surgery for Piper which will be around March/April 2019.

The surgery is major which involves numerous specialist (eye, brain, facial and plastic surgeon) although I’ve not gone into it before I will now...

This surgery involves cutting open Piper’s head from ear to ear in a zig zag line, her skin will be pulled forward to above her brow bone and her frontal skull plates taken out, this will leave her brain exposed,  they will then cut up her skull into numerous pieces and replace them and suture them to form a “normal” shape to allow for her brain to grow and develop without pressure from pushing on her skull which is currently restricting the way her brain can grow.

Headlines is a charity which supports families with craniosynostosis and quite simply I feel the condition is not well known enough and they rely solely on donations and fundraising to run and raise awareness.

Anything you could put forward would be kindly appreciated.

There is a big group of us going to do the walk and if you wanted to join us you are more than welcome to join and help raise awareness and get more donations .

Thanks ❤️❤️❤️
