GUTS is dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by bowel cancer. It funds capital projects, pioneering medical research and a clinic for families with a strong genetic risk of developing the disease. GUTS also provides an online resource to help patients during and after treatment.

Story

On the 11th  May, a team from Cranleigh Scientific Ltd have decided to attempt the famous 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for this year's chosen charity: GUTS (Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening).

The 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours!  The Peaks are as follows:

Ben Nevis in Scotland (1344m),

Scafell Pike in England (978m) and

Snowdon in Wales (1085m).

The challenge comprises in excess of 3,353 metres of climbing and over 32 kilometres of walking.   There is also over 800 kilometres of driving between the peaks!!

GUTS has been raising money to support the fight against bowel cancer for more than 20 years. It has raised more than 3 million pounds and screened more than 50,000 at risk patients. With your help GUTS will continue to support screening programmes, family cancer clinics and research into preventing and treating bowel cancer.

We hope to raise money through sponsorship from the people we work with including our clients, and of course our families and friends. So please donate and help us raise as much money as we can for this fantastic cause.

Many Thanks for your generosity and support.
