Story
See the updates below for our musical star performances! Thanks to your JustGiving donations and offline donations we've now reached £7,500. Once we reach £8,000 we'll share our final musical star.
On behalf of Workability we are proud to organise this fundraiser for the charity, Creative Futures. The charity has a proven track record of delivering fun and inspiring music and arts projects that children from all backgrounds can take.
The workshop
The workshop focuses on children from nursery to year 3, at
the deaf unit of Laycock Primary School. The school is near our London office and has the largest deaf unit in the country. To run the workshop we need to reach our first target of £8,000. Any additional donations are a bonus!
By singing and playing percussion instruments, the children’s
phonological capacity and understanding of speech will increase, as well as their cognitive structures and action patterns.
Our musical stars:
- £1,000 - Claudia will play the trumpet
- 2,500 - Richard Mountford will play the piano
- £4,000 – Mica Guscott will play the saxophone
- £6,000 – Dom Liversedge will play the guitar
- £8,000 – Alex Griffiths will sing
We’ll share footage of the first workshop in December so you can see the direct impact of your donation.
