By way of introduction, my name is Cris Maddox and I currently live in Atlanta, GA. Helping children is very near to my heart which is why I felt compelled to join Chase Shooting Star, an organization supporting families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday due to a chronic illness or disability. It is truly disheartening to see children suffer from a disease or disability that cannot be cured.

My goals: I'm so excited to support Chase Shooting Star in fundraising £600 by April 1, 2012, and building awareness at the Paris Marathon on April 15, 2012, where I will wear my Shooting Star track shirt and run 26.2 miles!!!

There is no cure for these young children, but we can help by providing them with a better life today.  So, please help me in raising funds to The Shooting Star Children's hospice.
