On April 7 2013 I will be running the Paris marathon as a gesture of support for someone who is one of the closest people to me. For those that dont know, her name is Ana de Castro.

Tragically last year, she lost her dad to cancer. I only met her dad, Pablo, a few times but even still he left a real impression on me. He was always smiling and genuinely saw the positive in everything, even at the most difficult of times.

My marathon run is just a small gesture of support to Ana and her family, while also helping to celebrate and remember a great person. So please help by donating whaetever you can, all help is greatly appreciated by all of us and it is, of course, for a great cause.

Pablo de Castro was a very special person, for the people that have never met him we can tell you that he was a great father - the best, a caring husband and a warm friend to all but he was more than that he was a good person that gave us an enormous amount of love.

The really lucky ones that had a pleasure to meet him, will remember him as a generous, loyal man who had time for everyone, to help and hear everyone. He was a fighter, he taught us lots of things and one of them was to never give up on your dreams.

His strength, his courage and his passion for life are a model for us to follow in our own. Although he sadly is no longer with us, he is inside us and he continues to inspire us.

In memory of our Pablo we would like to ask you to support Cris in this Paris Marathon to raise money for Water Aid because the minimum that everyone in the earth should have is safe clean water.

Every minute, every day, people suffer and lives are lost needlessly because of lack of safe water and sanitation.

Help Cris and us to help them to end this global crises and transform lifes in memory of Pablo. In his name we could make a positive change.

Pablo de Castro fue una persona muy especial,para los que nunca le habéis conocido os diré que era un  genial padre,el mejor,un cariñoso marido y un amigo entrañable para todos nosotros pero él fue más que eso fue una buena persona que nos dio una inmensa cantidad de amor.

Para los que tuvimos la suerte de conocerle, le recordaremos como un hombre generoso, leal , que ha tenido tiempo para todos, para ayudar y escuchar a todo el mundo. Fue un luchador ,el nos enseño muchas cosas y una de ellas fue a nunca rendirse, siempre luchar por tus sueños.

Su fuerza, valentía y ganas de vivir son un modelo a seguir que nos guiara nuestros pasos.

Aunque él ya no esta aquí,esta dentro de cada uno de nosotros, él continua inspirándonos.

En memoria de nuestro Pablo nos gustaría pedirnos que apoyarais a Cris en el maratón de París para recaudar dinero para water aid porque como mínimo  todas las personas sobre la tierra deberían tener agua limpia.

Cada minuto,cada día, gente sufre y muere innecesariamente por falta de agua limpia y saneamiento.

Ayuda a Cris y a nosotros para ayudarles a terminar con esta crisis global y salvar vidas en memoria de Pablo. En su nombre podemos cambiar las cosas.
