Story
When one of my best friends Miles was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease ( MND ) I had no idea what the disease was. Fortunately he has a variant which is not immediately life threatening but in order to learn more we undertook a project to interview and photograph people who not only have the disease but also carers, clinicians, volunteers and researchers. This project made me realise how much important work the MNDA carries out, not just in terms of helping individuals and their families but also by raising awareness of MND and helping support medical research. Frankly, MND is an awful disease and I'm proud to make my small contribution.
