We are the Critical Care team working in the trauma centre of James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough. We rely on YAA to delivery critically ill patient to us, from all over our very large catchment area. Without their help and expertise some of our patients would not make it to hospital, and so into our critical care department. 

With the pandemic fund raising has been hit hard and so we aim to raise as much as possible to support this cause. Every day they need £12000 in order to offer the service to anyone in need. 

We have decided to do a group challenge and are looking to walk the equivalent steps to get us around the world in 80 days - we like a challenge. We are using a website called "Worldwalking" to track our steps and progress round the world, doing their "West around the World" walk 63 367 309 steps. We aim to complete the journey in 80 days - by June 30th. We will be posting our progress as we go.
