So in under two weeks I will be taking the trip from South Manchester in the UK to Biograd in Croatia on a Vespa scooter, a distance of over 3000 miles. Many of you may not know this but my Wife and Son both have a condition called CMT (Charcot Marie Tooth) that affects the messages coming from the brain to legs and arms mainly. So I thought it would be a good idea to make this a fundraiser for CMT Kids.

My Wife and Son both have constant pain and struggle with the little things like walking, picking things up and fastening things in fact anything you would use your arms and legs for.

Every year my Wife takes a group of kids with the same condition to an outward bounds course to develop their confidence, self-esteem and generally give them a chance to do things they wouldn't normally do like abseiling and canoeing. The cost for each child is over £300 but the charity only charges them £50 with the rest coming from donations and fundraising.

Accompanied by 3 good mates we are taking tents and camping along the way before finally arriving at Biograd in Croatia four days later for the Vespa World Days 2015 scooter rally. Then all we have to do is ride back home!! 

Donate what you think you can afford. All the money will be going to support taking these kids away for the weekend to give them what you and me take for granted the trip is not costing the charity anything and no costs of the trip will be taken from the donations given.
