Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
During the month of February, we have set ourselves the challenge of scaling Mount Everest (virtually) as a team in support of Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity. Although we won't need sherpas and oxygen, we're practising our 'squats' and 'mountain climbers', as achieving the 18,000 meters from sea-level to peak and back down again is no mean feat. To complete this challenge, we need to climb approximately 4,500 meters a week throughout February, which, across the total equates to 6000 flights of stairs!
Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity is a fantastic local charity that raises funds to make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff who treat them. Support for the charity enables them to invest in projects that make the hospitals better for everyone.
Their aim is to create a positive environment for all patients and staff, investing in improvements to the buildings, state of the art equipment and extra care over and above that provided by the NHS.
