Our RNLI lifeboats in East of England protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

Cromer RNLI is a key strategic lifeboat station on the North Norfolk Coast.  It has both an all-weather lifeboat located at the lifeboat station at the end of Cromer Pier and an inshore lifeboat in the old boathouse at the bottom of the gangway.

Richard Annis, Chair at Cromer RNLI, said: "Our lifesavers are ready to drop everything at a moment's notice and rush to the aid of someone in trouble on the water.  As lifeboat crew we couldn't rescue people without the kind donations from the public which fund the kit, training and equipment we need to save others and get home safely to our families.

"We have set up this page in order to raise some vital funds for charity that save lives at sea.  Your kindness will help us raise vital funds to keep our volunteer crew equipped and trained to go out and rescue people and to come home safe themselves.  Many thanks from all at RNLI Cromer.!"

RNLI lifeboats in the East of England protect hundreds of communities through the 24-hour search and rescue service.  This is dependent on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and stations to launch from.  The stunning coastline of Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Lincolnshire is enjoyed by millions of people from across the country every year.  However, the water remains an unpredictable environment that can catch people out.  The RNLI is here to help and our volunteers will always be there to answer that call.
