Rachel, Chris and myself are going to Zipline across Belfast River Lagan on Sunday 22nd April 2018 to raise funds for Crossroads Care NI.  We would like to support both their Young Carers Project and In Your Prime Project.

By supporting us you will enable Crossroads Care NI to continue to support Young People who care for a family member with an illness, mental health problem or disability.  Crossroads Care NI provide social outings for over 100 Young Carers giving them rest-bite from their caring role and a chance to meet other young people in similar situations. All Young Carers need support to prevent the potential adverse impact in the longer term on their educational, social and emotional development.

Your donations will also help Crossroads Care NI tackle loneliness and social isolation amongst older people in our community.  Crossroads Care NI currently provide a befriending network and regular telephone service to one hundred older people.   In addition to this they organise events and provide emergency transport.  This support as proved invaluable to so many isolated people in our community.
