Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society
Since New Years Day 2021 I’ve been running a 10k everyday. On day 51 a half marathon was complete, followed up by an Ultramarathon on day 52. Between days 53 and 99 I’ve run a mixture of distances from 6k-22k. On day 100 I completed a personal best marathon time of 3:29 around an outdoor athletics track at Temple Newsam.
The running challenge was all about consecutive days and total distance. I’ve now completed 100 days of consecutive running without taking a day off. The challenge ended on April 10th and I completed a total distance of 1075km.
I’m raising money in memory of both my grandparents. Kenneth Brame & John Peter Sutcliffe who were both diagnosed with dementia.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated as I try and help raise more awareness for this charity.
Thank you!
