Help others suffering with diabetes

My mum had coped with diabetes since she was 6 years old, over 60 years, she had always been very strong and giving to others who she has met that suffer the effects of diabetes. She has given talks in hospitals, taken part in trials of new medicines and been an inspiration to many many people.
I hope and wish I am as strong as her if anything like this should happen to me.
Mum had suffered many set backs over the last few years, losing limbs, suffering heart attacks, and more recently having to cope with liver failure all with the support of her family.
For the last 6 months mum was at home being looked after by an amazing team of nurses who visited many times each day after being in the Derby Royal Hospital on Ward 409 for 6 weeks where she was cared for so well. She had so much praise for the team of nurses and doctors there.
I hope this can help others in some way however small.
On the 27th November 2014, mum sadly passed away and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
