Hello
Our names are Michael Hogarth and Liberty Wake-Smith and we intend to raise £5200 for the Kent Air Ambulance by participating in their fundraising event in November 2010.
We spend five days in cycling between 45km-100km per day covering a total of 348km for the event. It will take us the best part of a year to reach the fitness required to complete this challenge and all we ask is for your support in doing so. We chose to fundraise for this charity as being part of the rural community we understand the importance the Air Ambulance plays to those in agricultural to equestrian accidents and many more potential cases.
The Kent Air Ambulance doesn’t receive any government, NHS or National Lottery funding, purely depending on the money raised by the people of . There are 1.6million people living in Kent who all would gratefully accept help from the Kent Air Ambulances services yet if everyone just donated £1 a year we would not have to fundraise and ask the slightly more generous of us for a little extra help to support this fantastic cause.
We hope you will join us in giving something back to this remarkable charity.
Thank you.
