Story
We're Amy (full time working, mum of 2) and Eddie (5 year old bright spark), who are challenging ourselves to cycle 100 miles throughout November to raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).
Not only do I work at this amazing charity, they are also our local children's hospice. EACH helps support children and young people with life threatening conditions and their families. They offer more than end-of life care, they're also fun and happy places, where young people can live to their full potential.
Their family centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.
Any money we can raise this month, could help more families make the most of their precious time together - and will help them create memories that will last a life time.
As a mother of two healthy children, I can't imagine what it is like to grieve for your child or to know that their life may be limited. I am, however, spurred on knowing that any money I can raise can help make a difference to a family now and in the future.
Eddie and I won't be doing this challenge by ourselves, as we complete it on our trusty steeds; 'The Viking', a folding commuter bike with one reliable brake and 1/6 gears working and 'Apollo', a multicoloured childs bike! #dreamteam
So please help keep us motivated and sponsor us whatever you can today!
Thank you xx
