Row Britannia
Campaign by Sport Relief (RCN 326568)
Row Britannia is an inclusive (adaptive sport) mental health, fitness and wellbeing challenge for teams throughout the UK to raise vital funds and positive awareness between 12th November 2019 and 13th March 2020.

Story

The University of Cumbria is participating in a national Sport Relief challenge #rowbritannia and we need YOU to get involved.

Our Ambleside, Lancaster, London and two Carlisle campuses are getting involved. Will you help us?

From Monday 2 March until Friday 13 March, static rowing machines will be stationed in key locations across all our campuses.

How can you get involved?
•    Join our University of Cumbria team, set yourself a rowing challenge and get friends and family to sponsor you:

•    Support our University of Cumbria team and sponsor a colleague to row your mile for you:
https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/cumbriauni

•    Visit one of our rowing stations, row a mile and donate £1 in our #rowbritannia charity bucket

Row in fancy dress or your pyjamas if you feel like it, it’s all about having fun and raising money for a great cause.

Chief Operating Officer, David Chesser will kick off the challenge on Monday 2 March.
