Story
Over the last two decades, the majority of CURE Epilepsy's research funding has been focused on better understanding the causes of epilepsy and uncovering new therapies. In 2018, a task force was formed to investigate how to accelerate research toward a cure.
The result was CURE Epilepsy Catalyst, a program that provides the funding needed to transition basic research findings to curative therapies.
To jumpstart funding for this new grant mechanism and to encourage new gifts, a generous donor has established the Robert Withrow Wier Challenge Grant. This grant of $250,000 will only be given as CURE Epilepsy raises the same amount in new or increased gifts. When completed, this challenge will fully fund two Catalyst grants.
Please help us unlock these critical funds by giving today - and by sharing this opportunity with friends and family. Together, we can fund translational research and grow support for CURE Epilepsy. Thank you for your help!
