Story
My Son, Oliver, got Sepsis when he was just 5 weeks old.
Doctors looked him over, as did two paramedics and we were told he had an infection, possibly a nasal infection and we were to use a nasal spray.
His condition worsened very quickly and my Wife, Christina took him to A&E.
Luckily, my Son was put in front of Nurse Ally at Bedford hospital who recognised the signs of Sepsis and took action straight away.
Because of the actions of Ally, my Son is now nearly 2 years old in perfect health.
There is nowhere near enough awareness around Sepsis and so many parents have not been as fortunate as we were.
This is my way of raising funds for Sepsis research and raising as much awareness as possible.
Myself and my best friend Dan Hayes, will be taking part in Tough Mudder in September which is Sepsis Awareness month.
I would absolutely love to raise £1,000 for Sepsis Research.
So please, donate what you can and if you can't donate at this time please share my page so someone else can, it also may save someone else's life to learn more about Sepsis.
Thank you,
Cy
