CyberKiln 24 Hour Gaming Marathon 2021 · 15 May 2021

We are a local charity based in Stoke on Trent. We support disabled and vulnerable adults and children, to access support services, activities, events and workshops in the community. We offer an inclusive space, giving a warm welcome regardless of background, ability, or circumstance.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit CyberKiln's JustGiving page. On Saturday 22nd May 2021 at 7 am UK time Luke, Nathan, Connor and Chris are embarking upon a gruelling 24-hour endurance gaming marathon, to help raise money to fund the completion of a new sensory room for Helping Angels Charitable Association.

Not only do you get to watch us play for 24 hours, but you also get the chance to win 1 of 3 prizes in our giveaway. For every £10 donation to our JustGiving page, you get 1 entry (multiple entries allowed for each additional £10) to win either a £50, £30 or £20 Digital Steam Voucher. We will announce the winners via our social media and on Just Giving on Sunday 23rd May at 6pm UK time. Please be sure to include your name on your donations so we know who the lucky winners are.

Helping Angels Charitable Association Services: HACA operates in the community offering 4 Essential Key Services.

Group Activities: Supporting friendship, independence, physical and emotional well-being.

Educational Life Skills: Cooking, purchasing food, food hygiene, cleaning and laundry, money and budgeting, home and personal safety, fitness and healthy eating, organising time, relationships and transport.

Advancement of Social Inclusion: Community Events and opportunities for all including School Holiday support of complex needs children.

Volunteer Opportunities: Supporting adults with disabilities and carers to give back to the community and improve their skills to support them to access or return to work.

Ethos: Often we hear that vulnerable children and adults are told that things are not possible. It's not possible for them to go on an adventure, have fun and do things that other people can do. As a charity, we believe that everybody should be given the same "opportunities" and therefore our main aim is to make the impossible, possible! We believe that everyone has the right to access activities in the community on their own terms
