Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Tragically Dan lost his battle with Leukemia in 2008.

Over the past 10 years we have done everything we possibly can to remember Dan. This has varied from Football games, Bike rides, marathons and many more fundraising events.

Up to now we have raised approx £32,000 for different charities, from Make a wish, Leukemia Research, Cancercare, Blackpool Hospital plus many others.

In October this year it is sadly 10 years since we lost Dan, a much loved Son, Brother, Uncle and friend.

The same group of close friends that still carry Dan close , have decided that the 10th year will be something special.

Some of you may remember back in 2009 13 of Dans closest friends deciding for some reason that we would Cycle from London - Trafalgar Square back to Kendal , finishing with Dan, a total of 298 Miles! It tested and pushed us to the limits, never mind our bum cheeks 😊

So to remember Dan 10 years on since we sadly said goodbye, guess what...WERE DOING IT AGAIN!!!! If last time wasn’t hard enough.. instead of doing it over 5 days... we’ve decided to do it in just 3 days... basically 100 Miles a day 🙈

Some of us haven’t even sat on a bike since that day so we are going to need all the support we can get!!

We plan to start from London on Wednesday 12th September and arrive back in Kendal the afternoon of Friday the 14th, all ready to party with you and join you for a well earned beer!

Would we do this for anybody else.. absolutely not! DJ our friend, this is all for you 😘
