We are embarking on a fundraising project for The Children of Bhopal appeal. Twenty two years ago The Unioin Carbide factory in Bhopal, in India, killed thousands in a night when the plant began leaking deadly gasses. Union Carbide abandoned the site without bothering to clean it, leaving behind a chemical nightmare. As a result today the children of Bhopal continue to be born with several birth defects.
Our challenge is to cycle 420km in 5 days through Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, finishing at the Sambhavna Clinic, which is the only place in Bhopal offering free treatments and medicinesd to the children affected by the disaster. Here, we will be able to see first hand the vital support that we hope you will contribute towards.
