Cycle for Dementia · 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I'm taking on Cycle for Dementia to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

Mum has Vascular Dementia which affects her short term memory. For anyone who has been affected by this horrible disease, you'll know how sad it is to see someone become confused, scared, not sure who they are, who their family is or feel like they are going mad. It is so sad.

I am aiming to cycle 500 miles during August to raise much needed funds for research and help with this condition.

900,000 people are currently living with dementia across the UK. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society is here for everyone affected. Wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Your donations will keep me going so please hit the Give Now button and donate what you can to help beat dementia.

Thank you so much for your donation, however big or small. It all helps.
