Cycling 100 miles for Alzheimer's

Rodney Bell is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Cycle for dementia · 31 March 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Between August and September, I'm taking on "Cycle for Dementia" to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. I'll be posting my progress on my social media feeds throughout the month to show how far I've travelled so far.

This isn't a sponsor per mile affair. This is a one-time donation. So please don't think you'll be handing over hundreds if I keep going for miles-and-miles.

The care for people with alzheimer's and dementia means a considerable lot to me, as both are very close to home. That is why I'm taking on this challenge to raise even the slightest bit of money for the Alzheimer's Society.

900,000 people are currently living with dementia across the UK. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society is here for everyone affected. Wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Your donations will keep me going so please hit the Give Now button and donate what you can to help beat dementia. Thank you!
