Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are cycling 100 miles over 15-16th August. This is a distance Sarah has never come close to covering in her life. Jamie might have managed it once or twice in his younger days, but not in recent history!

Team mates, friends and their family linked to Rams RFC are also taking part and we hope to cover 1000 miles in total. We are raising funds for the Injured Players Foundation who have provided fantastic support to our friend and team mate Dani Watts. Dani is so close to hitting her £10,000 fundraising target for the IPF, and any donations on this page will go into that pot.

Dani suffered a catastrophic spinal injury towards the end of a match in October 2017. She was supported by the IPF during her long stay in hospital and they have also helped her and her young family find a suitable home and adapt to using a wheelchair.

The IPF provide immediate and lifelong support to rugby players who sustain a catastrophic spinal cord or traumatic brain injury. They fund research into the causes and outcomes of serious injury, identifying the best ways to prevent and treat it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
