Story

Hi All, Thanks for visiting my just giving page. As you know Angela volunteers at The J’s which is part of Havens Hospices and she has persuaded me to take part in a “30 Miles in 30 days” challenge to raise much needed funds. Why 30 miles? 30 miles is the average distance a Havens Nurse travels in just one day to help families when they need it most.I decided when lockdown occurred to buy a bike as a way to try and keep fit, and although I am a novice cyclist, I have really enjoyed getting out on the bike. In June, I am going to try and cycle 150 miles in 30 days and have even invested in a new seat, hopefully one that does not cut me in half!. Any money you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated by the Charity.Update, as the first week has gone reasonably well I have decided to increase my target and will now try and cycle 400 miles in June. Thanks for all your support.Keith
