"A kilometre for every child helped"
The Hermes GB team aims to cycle 800km on static bikes in Lower Grosvenor Gardens, near Victoria station, on Friday 20th September. We ask for your generous support to help us raise vital funds for children in the UK.
Did you know, in the average primary school class, at least 2 children have suffered abuse or neglect?
All young people should feel safe, cared for, and listened to. But we know, for children who desperately need help, it's often difficult to speak out.
Every day of the year, 24 hours a day, the NSPCC's unique Childline service - the world's first ever helpline for young people - is here to help those young people find their voice, whatever their worry, online or on the phone.
Childline delivers an average of 800 counselling sessions a day - yet the NSPCC can only respond to 3 out of 4 children who need their help. That's why on Friday 20th September, the Hermes team are cycling to reach 800 kilometers on static bikes - to raise vital funds for children who feel they have no one else to talk to and nowhere else to turn.
Sponsor us today and help Childline to continue being there for the children who desperately need so that they can look to the next day with hope and the knowledge that someone is on their side.
