Story

Both arrived safely!!!                          Journey's End.

We've cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats - we've done it!  We did 937 miles in total - cycling the length of the kingdom

Our secondary aim on route was to gorge ourselves on some local foods from each county we pass through has also made a fine start.  A Cornish pasty was the only way to start at Lands Ends, and clotted cream and Devonshire fudge kept us going through the hills of the South West.  Somerset and Gloucestershire have taken us into cheese and cider country.  Cheshire Cheese and Lancashire Hotpot were next followed by Cumberland sausage.  Scotland provided us with plentiful porridge oats, salmon, haggis - and of course the odd tipple of whisky

As well as gorging ourselves on food, we have been raising money for Leap Confronting Conflict.  Leap is a small charity that works with disadvantaged young people in some of the most difficult areas of the country training them to prevent conflict in their communities.  They do fantastic work on the ground and make a real difference where they are.  However, there is a huge need for more of what they do - and many more people could benefit from Leap's work.  Your support will directly help Leap reach out and help more people.

Thanks for your all your support.
