Llanishen RFC JOGLE 1,000 mile 9 day cycling challenge

On the 3rd September 2013, Llanishen RFC U14s lost one of their brightest and toughest players. 13 year old Owen Morris collapsed whilst warming up during a training session and, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, sadly died. He is sorely missed and life will never be the same for his family, friends and those who had the privilege to have known him.
The charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) provides medical screening to try and
prevent deaths like Owen's, so we are asking for help to support the charity in
achieving this goal. 5 members of Llanishen RFC, who were heavily involved in
the coaching of Owen throughout his rugby career, are raising money for CRY by
cycling from John O'Groats to Lands’ End. This is a tremendous challenge as it
will involve cycling around a 1,000 miles in only 9 days, over some of the
toughest terrain in the country.
Together as a team of cyclists, we can help this most worthy cause. We aim to raise at least £5,000 and if you feel able to make a donation, all of which will go to CRY, please, please help us to reach this target.
