Cycling's Cycling Home on 13 April
In the third and hopefully final instalment of our stupid, pointless challenges that take up a whole day and destroy our arms, legs and other limbs, heroes Chris, John, Martyn, Rob and Will (and Fred in spirit) are cycling 100km from Amsterdam to Amsterdam, via Haarlem, Zandvoort, Katwijk aan Zee and Lisse. To make this much more challenging than is necessary, we're doing it on OV fietsen (a bit like Boris Bikes). We didn't bother you for money when we went kayaking and running, which means you should now provide 3x whatever you would usually donate to help the people of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Everyone who donates is also eligible to buy us a beer at the finishing line.
Tropical Cyclone Idai has ripped through Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, leaving a trail of destruction in its path. Fears are growing for more than 100,000 children and adults whose lives are at immediate risk. As water systems become contaminated, there is increased likelihood of an outbreak of waterborne diseases like cholera, which if left untreated can be fatal. People who are living without water, food, shelter and healthcare need urgent assistance.
