^{Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In January 2010 I left my job, friends and family behind to embark on Cycling The 6… an epic solo journey around the world and the length of six continents… and all by bicycle.}

^{The journey’s projected to take a whopping 4 and a half years during which I’m likely to travel through at least 50 countries and to cover around 50,000 miles (80,000 km) - a distance equivalent to twice the circumference of the earth and over 80 times the length of Great Britain.}

^{During my journey I’m aiming to travel solely by bicycle whilst crossing each of the 6 continents and I’ll be wild camping as I go. No buses, no cars, no trains and no planes, just short boat rides to connect up the sections of my proposed route. Over 4 and a half years I’ll cross the world’s 3 highest mountain ranges, brave Patagonian headwinds, cycle vast distances through arctic tundra and endure the sweltering heat of the Australian outback and the Sahara desert.}
