Contact is a national charity that offers families with disabled children expert advice, advocacy, and a place to support each other — helping them to thrive, access essential services, and campaign for a more inclusive society.

Story

STOP PRESS: After the success of last season, I'll be doing a one-off encore - cycling to and from the Brighton v Palace match on 28 November.

During the 2016-17 football season, I cycled to and from all 38 Crystal Palace Premier League matches and four of their Cup matches.  The only match I missed was Southampton away in the League Cup, which I missed because I was already on the way to Sunderland for the Premier League game!  In total, I cycled 7,122 miles in 551.5 hours.

I did this to raise money for Contact a Family; a great charity that provides support and advice to families with disabled children.

I posted more details about the challenge - and my progress - on my blog - www.cyclingtheseason.wordpress.com.
