Hey Guys, for the first time ever I'll be running a half marathon.

I know I'm gonna be an annoying running nut for the next wee while updating you all on my progress if any.

The Charity I have chosen to run for is The British Heart Foundation.

The reason I have chose this charity is because its very close to my heart literally.

Last year I was diagnosed with 2nd degree heart block (Mobitz 11) meaning my heart skips a beat, and not in a particularly romantic way. It resulted in me having a pacemaker at the age of 26.

Now I only ever knew a pacemaker as a thing the older generation get and heres me a wee fresh yolk getting a battery ! WHYY ? haha

As much as I joke and cover things up with humour I was sad about it for a while and that's okay.

The British Heart Foundation helped me understand my condition and come to terms with what it was I needed to do to look after myself now and in the future despite my notorious nights out.

Also don't come at me with a magnet please, ye hear ! 

I will be running in honour of my Uncle Brian Adair and my Grandad Bill Adair who sadly both passed away last year.

There's only one other person I'm gonna run for and that's me haha.   One thing I've realized especially in the process of coming to terms with certain things in my life is if you haven't got yourself you have nobody.

So please and I'm not ashamed to say it look after your mental health as its also something I've struggled with, Do what you have to do with your best interest at heart, be kind always. Its tough out there we got this though.

With all that said i'd really appreciate a donation of any amount to put towards this charity as it helped me and the research is ongoing and helping so many others who are far worse off.

Thanks to BHF research, today more people than ever survive heart and circulatory diseases. But these conditions still cause heartbreak for millions of families - killing 1 in 4 people.

Ill charge myself up as I'm now bionic and see how long I can go for (Ill never be very serious either) haha
