Story

The Cyprus Cycle Challenge route is an arduous and challenging route that will cover over 540km of road in 4 day and incorporate a total of 5000m of ascent. The challenge will be completed, for the most part, with all cyclists riding as a formed peloton.

The Mercian team are novice cyclists, and have come together to form the team and are currently in training to participate in what will be a testing and challenging event.

The Mercian soldiers are hoping to raise £5000 to go to a much needed cause. All money raised will be split between the Mercian Benevolent fund and the Army Benevolent fund (ABF). £800 of the money raised will also go to Combat Stress.
