Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We did it!!

This page is still open to accept sponsors until August 28th so you're not too late ;o)

The photo shows us after the event enjoying a well deserved ice cream!

Where? Fewston Swinsty Reservoir
When? Saturday 28 June 2008
How long is the walk? 5 mile "Family day out" will be a clockwise circuit of Fewston Swinsty reservoir.

At the age of 4 we found out that Kirsty had Cystic Fibrosis. Our Kirsty (Lumpy) is now 9 & thanks to Sheffields Childrens Hospital CF Unit she is relatively healthy. Hopefully, she will remain this way until a cure is found. However, at present 3 young lives a week are lost to this life threatening disease & the average life expectancy is 31!!

We are taking part in this event as a family hopefully raising a 'LARGE' amount of cash for The Cystic FIbrosis Trust in the process. If you would like more information please follow the links below.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cystic Fibrosis Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now & help us reach our target!

Thank you for your time xx
