Unfortunately Bird Aid the charity that I have been volunteering at for just over the last 10 years or so is in danger of having to close down.  The work that the founders have done since Bird Aid started is fantastic.  I have seen first hand birds coming in that have literally been at deaths door and have managed to be saved and released back into the wild.  

Bird Aid takes in over 500 birds every year and is also home to 150+ animals.

This year I am doing Tough Mudder London South on the 19th of September.  I am a relatively new comer to these mud runs/obstacle courses.  It is a 8-10 mile track with 25 obstacles, so it's going to be quite a challenge, so any donations would be much appreciated, thank you!
