Story
We are fundraising for GMOTFW to say thank you for all of the support they offered me (Carrie) back in 2016 and beyond following my struggle with postnatal depression. I am lucky enough to now work for this charity and be a part of its future development however my love for the work we do is only because of how much of a difference it made back in my early parenting days. Before passing my driving test last year, I was reliant on public transport or walking to get myself to meet ups or events and I am very aware of the financial and social struggles facing so many families today. If we can help to pay for someone in need to be able to get a taxi to a support session, a bus to a picnic or a train to a beach walk, we would be so happy to know we made a difference to someone's day and allowed them to escape their own four walls to be with others. We appreciate any help you can offer, money is tight for everyone but every penny raised can really help.
We will be walking 8 miles (Junior on his scooter) to raise money for this campaign - thank you for your support :-)

Get Me Out The Four Walls was created to ensure that no mother, father or carer feels alone and isolated at home after the birth of their children. By creating informal social meets, we aim to give as many people the opportunity to escape their house and meet others which we believe helps prevent the on-set of perinatal mental illnesses such as postnatal depression and helps aid stabilisation of mental health.Due to the cost of living crisis, we are aware that many families are not only struggling to pay their basic bills but they are also unable to access recreational activities and community groups with their family meaning many are isolated and lonely. As much of our county is rural, many activities and community events require parents to travel with their children and this can be difficult for so many who don't have access to a car or funds for buses or taxis. All of our social meets and meets at our GMOTFW Hub in Lakenham are free to attend, however we would like to break down
