The Upper Rhondda Pubwatch – Dai Fib Appeal · 11 February 2016

💚 Heart Screening 💚 Defibrillators 💚 CPR & Defibrillator Training 2,800 sudden cardiac arrests happen outside hospitals in Wales every year. Less than one in ten people survive. Heart screening & defibrillators can help reduce this statistic.

Story

The Upper Rhondda Pubwatch scheme is set up to keep licensed premises safe.  Our 19 premises are an important part of the community and we would like to help that community keep safe and healthy.

In conjunction with South Wales Police and Welsh Hearts, our target is to raise £10,000 to buy 8 defibrillators and secure boxes to be placed outside our venues for the whole community to use in case of an emergency, 24 hours a day.

We have already climbed Pen-y-Fan and held numerous charity events.  Help us help the community and donate today.

Pubwatch members involved:
Treherbert Con, The Wyndham, The Bute, The Lion, The Railway Canteen, Treherbert RFC, Mega Save, The Parc Hotel, Treorchy RFC, The Hendrewen, The Tremains, The White Dragon, The Pengelli, SB Stores, The New Inn Treherbert, Treorchy Hotel, GS Stores, Village Stores & Post Office Tynewydd, Hot Gossip.
