Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of 15 intrepid cyclists from Daikin Air Conditioning UK Ltd, Bristol, are set to embark on a charity cycle ride on the weekend of July 15th 2011 from our satellite sales office here in Bristol, to our UK head office, based in Weybridge, Surrey (a cycle of approx 107 miles) in order to raise money for those affected by the Tsunami which struck Japan in March earlier this year.

Daikin Air Conditioning are an airconditioning manufacturer established in 1924, with our global headquarters in Osaka, Japan. There are a number of factories throughout Japan which, fortunately were not affected by the Tsunami. In the UK and Europe there are many Japanese nationals who are employed by Daikin UK and Daikin Europe who have been affected though through family and friends still living in Japan.
