While the world's elite athletes are busy preparing for the 2012 London Olympics, Dains is gearing up for an Olympic style challenge of our own...
Dains has always been committed to supporting worthy causes, which is why we are delighted to be taking part in the UK200 Group's Not the Olympics 2012 event. The event is taking place in order to raise £100,000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
The Not the Olympics 2012 event runs from May to November this year and participating members of the UK200 Group will be tasked with relaying a mock Olympic torch across the UK. The torch can be transported via any mode of transport other than a modern car.
The torch will travel the length of the UK before it reaches the Olympic Stadium in November.
On Saturday 25 June 2011, Dains will be accepting the ‘Not the Olympics 2012’ torch at our Derby office from Howard Worth Accountants. It will then be relayed through each of our offices by staff dressed in a variety of ‘suits’ as they carry the torch through each town
