The Robes Project provides a volunteer led Winter Night Shelter for those experiencing homelessness in Southwark and Lambeth. We give guests advice, guidance and floating support. In partnership with our guests, we work with them to access long term accommodation and be able to sustain it.

Story

In April 2019 I will be running the London Marathon for Robes Project.

Robes operates across Southwark and Lambeth to provide shelter for people who find themselves homeless in London. Robes also supports people with vital welfare advice, enabling them to access services and accommodation.

Together with my husband Matthew and my mum Jackie, I have been volunteering for Robes since 2010. You can see a picture of us above just after a breakfast shift at the Robes shelter at St John the Divine, Camberwell.

I have lived in London all my life and seen up front the problems caused by homelessness. By donating to Robes you'll be supporting the great work they do in providing help and shelter.
