Hello my name is daisy Gale , 15 years old and I am running one hundred miles in august for teenage cancer trust . The reason I am doing this is because I feel that this is a traumatic experience for anyone that has to go through this or whoever may have already gone through it . I feel that teenagers are missing part of their teenage years because they have to stay protected/safe but also they need to spend time in the hospital although I haven’t gone through the experience myself I want to help other family’s/ teenagers who have to go through this .  As a teenager myself I know that these are the years that we start to do things independently but can’t do this from the age of 13-24 you start to figure out what you want to be in life like how do you want to live it , who you are gonna be but even down to  start thinking about what your going to do after school . Being a 15 year old I have started to discover who I am and what I want to do in life (for some people this might happen later in life )  . I want to do this for the people who have the experience of cancer either  going through it now and even in the future  or people who have already gone through this scary experience. This is not fair in my opinion because they miss doing things with friends  which I love to do so therefore I want to help make this experience a tiny bit less scary as more of them need to survive
