Neuroblastoma Alliance - Felix White Appeal · 31 December 2012 ·
My cousin was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma on Valentine’s Day 2009 at the age of 5 and died of the disease on the 23rd of August 2011.
Neuroblastoma is a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer and is the number one disease killer in children. At the moment there is no known cure for Neuroblastoma and quite often there is less that a 30% chance of survival.
He remained positive and fun to be around throughout his gruelling treatment and will never be forgotten.
Felix may not have made it but I hope to contribute to finding a cure for many other children suffering from this disease.
I will be competing in the HSBC Sprint Triathlon at Eton Dorney on the 16th September to raise funds and awareness for Neuroblastoma. This will be a 750m swim followed by a 20km bike ride and a 5km run to finish and I know that it will not be easy.
For more information on Neuroblastoma and to read my Auntie’s (Felix’s Mum’s) blog, please visit www.appeal4felix.com<http://www.appeal4felic/>
I will be very grateful for your support
Thank you so much
