Walk 100 miles in June for Mind

Daisy Ghai is raising money for Mind

Walk 100 miles in June · 1 June 2026 to 30 June 2026 ·

Walk 100 miles this June, raise money and fight for better mental health.

Story

In June 2015, I lost my brother, Ricky, to suicide.

There isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about him. The loss of a sibling leaves a space that never truly disappears, and nearly eleven years later, I still carry his memory with me every day.

This June, I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles challenge for Mind in Ricky's honour.

Mental health struggles can affect anyone. Too often, people suffer in silence, feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or like they have run out of options. No one should have to face those moments alone.

Mind provides vital support to people experiencing mental health challenges through their helplines, online resources, local services, and community support networks. Right now, demand for their services is higher than ever.

Every mile I walk will be for Ricky, and for everyone currently fighting battles that others cannot see.

If you're able to, please consider supporting my challenge with a donation. Every contribution helps Mind continue providing information, support, and hope to those who need it most.

Thank you for helping me honour Ricky's memory and support a cause that means so much to me. 💙
