Back in June 2021, my family suffered a massive blow at the sudden loss of our sister, Lis. Our lives will never be the same and we are still struggling with learning to live without her, as are many people who loved her. 

Then in April 2022, we took another devastating blow at the sudden loss of Lee, my daughter’s Dad,  once my husband but always my friend. 

Both Lis and Lee selflessly hosted and supported fundraising events for Daisy. So on the 7th May I have committed to run the Great Birmingham half marathon in honour of Lis, Lee and Daisy alongside Lee’s partner Sandra. This is the biggest challenge of my life but I’ll be doing it proudly for all the people feeling the loss of these two amazing people.
