We are doing the York Walk with family members and our dog on 12th May to raise money towards research & awareness for Chrohns & Colitis UK, an organisation very close to our heart.  Dale was diagnosed with Chrohns disease in February 2011 after suffering on and off for over a year with the dibilitating symptoms, after a severe flareup which left him very ill and forced him to have time off work, he was admitted into hospital for over a week.  During this time the care and help he received from the hospital was amazing & the follow up treatment & ongoing support has been fantastic so we would like to give something back & help raise awareness and fund research. IBD'S are not a subject discussed openly and many people suffer in silence, it wasn't until Dale was diagnosed that we realised just how many people we know or meet know atleast one person or have a family member with an IBD.
