Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At 7pm on the 26th of June this year I will be setting off on an endurance challenge the likes of which is rarely attempted. I hope that this mere fact alone will spur you on to give generously for my chosen charity, the Nith Inshore Rescue; a voluntary group who benefit my local community enormously.

The challenge is quite simple; I will be covering (on foot) a distance of close to 72 miles. It will all be cross country and will include ascending and descending 42 Lakeland peaks taking in a total of approx' 28,500ft. My aim is to do this within 24 hours from setting off. It is the equivalent of running from London to Dover via Mt Everest!

Click on my photos for an idea of the kind of thing that is involved. On behalf of the charity and all those helping me I would like to thank you in advance for your kind donation.
